Four reasons to rope up with us

Since 2011 we have guided more than 18,000 guests through the Dolomites – hikers, families, photographers and alpinists – always in small groups and always with certified professionals.

Certified professionals

Every tour is led by a UIAGM/IFMGA-certified mountain guide or, on hiking tours, a licensed hiking guide registered with the Alto Adige guides' association. Certifications are shown on request at any time.

Genuinely small groups

Maximum 8 guests per guide on hikes, 6 on via ferrata and 4 on climbing courses. Small groups mean a safer rope, a flexible pace and time for every question – and for every photo stop.

Insurance & safety included

Accident and mountain-rescue insurance for the duration of the tour is included in every price, as is all group safety equipment. Routes are checked against the avalanche and weather bulletin every morning.

Fair weather policy

If our guide cancels a tour for safety reasons – weather, conditions, rockfall – you choose between a full refund and free rebooking to any other date or tour. No arguing, no vouchers forced on you.

“Our guide Matteo timed the whole hike so we reached the ridge exactly as the first light hit the Odle spires. Coffee and warm apple strudel at the top. As a photographer I've done many sunrise tours – this one was flawless.”

David K., Software Engineer Munich · May 2026 · Via Ferrata Experience Verified booking

“First via ferrata of my life and I never felt unsafe for a second. Thorough gear briefing, constant checks, and the guide read our group perfectly – pushing where we could and slowing down where we needed it. Booked the climbing course for August already.”

Elin J., Teacher Stockholm · July 2026 · Alta Via 1 Trek Verified booking

“Three days, two rifugio nights, one thunderstorm – and a guide who rerouted us so smoothly we never lost a single highlight. The hut dinners alone were worth the trip. The 10% group discount for our five friends was applied automatically at booking.”

FAQ – Everything you need to know

Can't find your question? Call us on +39 0471 254 890 or write to [email protected] – we reply within 2 hours on business days.

Every tour card shows a difficulty badge. "Easy" tours (sunrise hike, snowshoe) suit anyone who can walk 3–4 hours at a relaxed pace. "Moderate" requires basic hiking fitness for a full day on the trail. "Challenging" and "Demanding" tours (via ferrata, Alta Via trek) require sure-footedness, no fear of heights and the ability to be active for 6+ hours. No technical experience is needed for any tour except where stated – our guides teach you everything on site. If you are unsure, call us and describe your experience; we will honestly recommend the right tour.
Every price includes the certified guide, group safety equipment, accident and mountain-rescue insurance for the tour duration, and 22% Italian VAT. Via ferrata and climbing tours include personal technical gear (harness, helmet, ferrata set or climbing shoes). The Alta Via trek includes two nights half board in mountain huts. You bring: sturdy hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing in layers, sun protection and at least 1.5 litres of water. Rental boots (€10/day) can be added when booking by phone. A detailed packing list arrives with your booking confirmation.
Safety decides, not the calendar. Our guides check the official South Tyrol weather and avalanche bulletin every morning. If a tour has to be cancelled for safety reasons, you choose between a full refund of everything you paid and free rebooking to any other date or tour – no cancellation fee, no forced voucher. If conditions allow a modified route instead, the guide will propose it and you decide.
Yes. Up to 7 days before the tour date you can cancel free of charge and receive a full refund. Between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour we charge 50% of the tour price; after that, or in the case of a no-show, 100%. Free rebooking to another date or tour is possible up to 48 hours before the start, subject to availability. Please note: as a leisure service with a fixed date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to tour bookings (Article 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code) – our voluntary cancellation terms above apply instead. Details in the Booking & Cancellation policy in the footer.
Discounts are applied automatically in the booking calculator: from 4 participants you receive 10% off the total price, and a full private group of 8 receives 15%. The discount applies to the tour price, not to extras such as equipment rental or hotel pickup. For school classes, company outings and groups larger than 8 (split across several guides), contact us for an individual quote.
Each tour has a fixed meeting point at the trailhead, stated in your booking confirmation together with parking and public-transport directions. Alternatively, book the hotel pickup option (+€19 per person): our minibus collects you from accommodation in Bolzano, Val Gardena or Alta Badia and returns you after the tour. Pickup times are confirmed by WhatsApp or SMS the evening before.
